Main Topic: Geoff Gannon from FocusedCompounding.com

Geoff Gannon joins me on this episode of the podcast. Geoff writes about investing at FocusedCompounding.com and his original blog at Gannon on Investing. Geoff is currently working on setting up a money management business to manage separate accounts with his partner Andrew Kuhn that they have named Focused Compounding Capital Management.

Geoff started investing at the age of 14 and ended up reading The Intelligent Investor and Security Analysis at the age of 16 and was bitten by the value bug. His style of investing is a blend of Buffett today, and classic Graham as well.

Geoff gives his thoughts on a bunch of investing related topics, including risk, net nets, portfolio concentration, staying fully invested, and a very interesting take on the question of "when to sell".

In answering a question about how new investors should get started, Geoff mentions the book "Fortunes Formula." I had not heard of the book until Geoff mentioned itand it's now in my Amazon cart!
